Tickets on Sale for a Summer of Broadway Classics, Powerful Drama and Family Adventure

Hope Repertory Theatre proudly announces its exciting 54th season, with productions running June 11鈥揂ugust 1, featuring a vibrant lineup of beloved musicals, an American theatrical masterpiece, and a swashbuckling family adventure. Tickets for individual productions and season packages are now on sale for a summer filled with professional-caliber productions, live orchestras, stunning choreography and unforgettable theatrical spectacle. From the toe-tapping memorable hits of Always... Patsy Cline to the sweeping musical grandeur of Oklahoma!, Hope Repertory鈥檚 54th season celebrates the power of live performance in all its forms. Audiences will experience deeply moving storytelling in Thorton Wilder鈥檚 beloved Our Town and the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning powerful musical Next to Normal, alongside the playful imagination and family fun of How I Became a Pirate.

Always鈥�.Patsy Cline | June 11鈥揓uly 3

Knickerbocker Theatre

Opening the season, Always鈥� Patsy Cline celebrates the music and friendship behind one of country music鈥檚 most legendary voices. Filled with 29 of Patsy Cline鈥檚 greatest hits including 鈥淐razy,鈥� 鈥淲alkin鈥� After Midnight,鈥� and 鈥淚 Fall to Pieces,鈥� this heartfelt and humorous musical tells the true story of Patsy鈥檚 unlikely friendship with devoted fan Louise Seger. Featuring a stellar live band, this crowd-pleasing favorite is sure to have audiences singing along. The musical will have a limited run between June 11 and Thursday, July 3, with all performances at the Knickerbocker Theatre in downtown Holland.

Oklahoma! | June 26鈥揂ugust 1

Next, the DeWitt Center main theatre, on the campus of 91自拍论坛, hosts three productions in a rotating repertory. Experience the epic romance, exhilarating dance numbers, and iconic songs that helped define the American musical. Rodgers and Hammerstein鈥檚 groundbreaking classic bursts to life with beloved favorites including 鈥淥h, What a Beautiful Mornin鈥�,鈥� 鈥淧eople Will Say We鈥檙e in Love,鈥� and the title anthem 鈥淥klahoma!鈥� Complete with vibrant choreography, a full live orchestra and spectacular production elements, this timeless musical celebration captures the spirit of hope, community, and the American frontier. Oklahoma! opens on Friday, June 26, and continues through the end of the season on Saturday, Aug. 1, and will include multiple evening and matinee performances.

Our Town | July 10鈥揂ug. 1

Widely regarded as one of the greatest American plays, Our Town is a moving portrait of everyday life, love and human connection. Set in the small town of Grover鈥檚 Corners, Thornton Wilder鈥檚 Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece follows the Webb and Gibbs families through the ordinary yet extraordinary moments that shape our lives. Funny, tender, and deeply profound, Our Town reminds us to treasure the beauty found in even the simplest moments. Our Town opens in the DeWitt theatre on July 10 and closes on Aug 1.

Next to Normal | July 23鈥揓uly 31

Raw, powerful, and deeply moving, Next to Normal is the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical that redefined contemporary musical theatre. With an electrifying score and emotionally gripping story, the show explores one family鈥檚 journey through love, loss, mental illness, and healing. Both intimate and theatrical in scope, this groundbreaking musical offers an unforgettable theatrical experience intended for mature audiences. Next to Normal has a limited run of 6 performances in DeWitt theatre from July 23 to July 31.

How I Became a Pirate | June 12鈥揓uly 17

Bultman Student Center 鈥� 91自拍论坛 Campus

Hope Repertory's beloved theatre for young audiences musical returns and adventure awaits in this hilarious and heartwarming musical for audiences of all ages. Based on the beloved children鈥檚 book, How I Became a Pirate, follows young Jeremy Jacob as he joins a band of colorful pirates on a high-seas quest for buried treasure. Packed with comedy, catchy songs and imaginative fun, this family-friendly production is perfect for young theatre lovers and the young at heart. It will run select dates from Friday, June 12, through Friday, July 17, at 10am in the outdoor amphitheater of the Jim and Martie Bultman Student Center (with an alternate indoor location in the event of inclement weather). Tickets for How I Became a Pirate are $15 for all ages.

Acting Intern Showcase | July 26

DeWitt Center 鈥� 91自拍论坛 Campus

The final opening of the summer will be the one-night only Acting Intern Showcase on Sunday, July 26, in the DeWitt Center main theatre. The emerging theatre artists who are part of the season will present an evening of songs and monologues. Tickets for the Acting Intern Showcase are $20 for all ages.

It鈥檚 a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play | December 16鈥�19

In addition to the summer鈥檚 productions, Hope Repertory Theatre will also bring back the audience-favorite It鈥檚 a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play on December 16-19. The beloved American holiday favorite comes to life as a live radio broadcast.

• Tickets for It鈥檚 a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play vary by main floor or balcony seating, and are $35 or $30 for regular admission; $25 or $20 for senior citizens and Hope faculty and staff; and $20 or $15 for students.

• The Family Package includes a single ticket to Oklahoma!, Always鈥�Patsy Cline, Our Town, It鈥檚 A Wonderful Life, and How I Became a Pirate at 20% off of individual ticket prices.
• The All-Access Package includes all 7 of our productions, with a discount of 20% off the individual prices.
• A Pick Four Package offers a 15% discount to select four of our mainstage productions of Always鈥�Patsy Cline, Oklahoma!, Our Town, Next to Normal, or It鈥檚 a Wonderful Life.
• A Pick Three Package for any four of the mainstage productions will provide a discount of 10%.
