91̳ will host “The Gift of Music: A Memorial Tribute to David P. Roossien” on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at 7 p.m. at the Jack H. Miller Center for the Musical Arts.

The public is invited and admission is free.

The concert will honor the generosity and legacy of David P. Roossien, whose commitment to the keyboard program and Department of Music had a profound and lasting impact. 

The program will feature performances on the Casavant Organ and Steinway Concert Grand Piano by alumni David Heinze ’17 and Aaron Goodyke ’16, together with professors David Keep and Huw Lewis. The performers will also share personal reflections on Roossien’s influence.

Selections will include works by César Franck, Dieterich Buxtehude, Johann Sebastian Bach, Lūcija Garūta, and Marcel Lanquetuit, as well as congregational hymns “Praise, My Soul, the King of Heaven” and “The Doxology.” Closing remarks will be offered by Dean of the Arts and Humanities, Stephen Maiullo.
