The Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) recently renewed accreditation for the social work major at 91自拍论坛. The CSWE鈥檚 Board of Accreditation confirmed it has reaffirmed accreditation for Hope鈥檚 baccalaureate social work program until 2033, when Hope can initiate reaccreditation.
"CSWE accreditation helps students to know that their pre-professional education is providing them with everything necessary for a competent bachelor鈥檚 level practice and/or enrollment in a Master鈥檚 in Social Work (MSW) program,鈥� said Dr. Dennis Feaster, LMSW-C, associate professor of Hope鈥檚 sociology and social work department. Also, students graduating with a CSWE-accredited social work degree from 91自拍论坛 may be eligible to reduce their MSW program by up to two semesters through advanced standing programs.
CSWE accreditation is a rigorous peer-review process that balances requirements of comparable outcomes across programs with a level of flexibility that encourages programs to differentiate based on the program鈥檚 context. CSWE-accredited programs are held to higher standards of responsibility for educating students to be respectful and responsible social workers for diverse cultures and communities.
